Gasoline problems in Russia. Ukrainian drones hit the refineries

Ukrainian drones are increasingly aiming at Russian refineries and export terminals of energy resources. According to agency sources, such activities reduced the efficiency of the refinery in Russia by up to 20 percent. On some days, at the same time limiting the export of key petroleum products. Although the country has significant supply of diesel oil, the production of gasoline oscillates at the level corresponding to national demand. Reducing the ability to process raw materials leads to disturbing deficiencies on the market.
At Russian gas stations, so far, there are no large queues, but more and more often there are deficiencies of popular fuels, such as AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline. As Reuters notes, the difficulties began in August in the Far East and Crimea. Currently, problems are spreading to other regions, including the Podłżański area, the southern part of the country and central Russia.
No fuel at stations. The authorities calm
The authorities are trying to calm the situation. Nikitin, Governor of the Nowogrodzki District, on Monday declared on a telegram that NThe iedobory is “temporary”, and the disturbances in the supply chain will soon end. “Everything should return to normal in the coming days,” Nikitin wrote.
The problem, however, does not evenly distribute to all gas stations. According to industry representatives, the most severe fuel deficiencies concern private stations that cannot afford larger amounts of gasoline. In turn, stations belonging to the largest Russian energy concerns operate mostly without major interference. It is estimated that about 40 percent Fuel sales points in Russia belongs to private owners.
The Kremlin is becoming a significant impact of Ukrainian activities on the Russian energy economy. According to experts, destabilization of the fuel market powered by drone attacks can negatively affect the performance of not only the energy sector, but also the broadly understood economy.
