Four suspects, accused of rented buildings used for prostitution, were detained for 24 hours. They are to be presented before the prosecutors with a proposal for a preventive arrest.

The police officers from Vrancea, coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office next to the Focșani District Court, carried out a large action against the pimping networks on Tuesday. Within it, 16 home searches were carried out in Vrancea county, in suspected persons that they would be involved in facilitating prostitution.
“Four people, suspected of facilitating the practice of prostitution, by renting some buildings against money, were retained for 24 hours in terms of committing the crime of pimping in continuous form. During Wednesday, the suspects will be presented at the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Focşani District Court, with a proposal for a preventive arrest”, The County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Vrancea said, according to Agerpres.
Mandate of bringing issued in several counties
In addition to the searches carried out in Vrancea, the investigators issued 24 warrants to bring to Vrancea, Brăila, Galați, Vaslui and Bacău counties, targeting other people who could be involved in this network.
The whole action benefited from the support of the Vrancea County Gendarmes Inspectorate. The investigation is ongoing, and the prosecutors are going to establish the preventive measures in the case of the detained.
