The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu addressed the citizens a few days before the parliamentarians on September 28, in a speech that warned him that the European sovereignty and future are in danger due to Kremlin's attempts to buy votes. Sandu asks for support from Moldovans
She said that Russia is supported by politicians who have been to Moldova, with adverse consequences for the country.

The president of Moldova asked the citizens to defend their country by an honest vote to show Moscow that Moldova is not for sale.

Over 250 searches and 74 arrests
Over 250 searches were carried out on Monday in the Republic of Moldova, in a criminal case aimed at preparing destabilization actions before the Sunday's parliamentary elections. The authorities announced that 74 people were detained, some of them having connections with political forces and crime structures.
