Witold Jurasz: The PiS idea can harm Poland, not Russia

In the first, the Russians would hire a new embassy headquarters. There is no doubt that for an appropriate amount paid in one way or another, someone on the commercial market premises to the Russians would rent. Poland – which the Russians as part of the retort would throw out of our embassy in Moscow – would not be able to hire anything, because no one in Russia would dare to such a thing. As a result, the Russians would still have an embassy in Poland, and we would not have an embassy in Russia.
In the second scenario, the Russians would break diplomatic relations with Poland.

PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński are well aware of all this
The first script would mean that the Russians could continue to conduct intelligence, care for their citizens and minorities, and continue their diplomatic activities. We could, at most, use a possible hospitality in one of the allied embassies, which would mean that our activity in every area would be reduced to a minimum.
In the second scenario, there would be a complete paralysis of any remaining still under diplomatic coverage of Polish intelligence activities in Russia. We would not be able to support the Polish minority and Polish citizens at all, who – whether we like it or not, still travel to Russia.
The Russians for a change intelligence activities would conduct (the risk of finding themselves in our prisons is less than that involves staying in Russian penalty colonies). Russian citizens in Poland and the Russian minority in Poland would also be able to do it without Russian diplomats, because as a democratic state, neither citizens nor minorities, after all, we do not persecute.
A diplomatically a step proposed by PiS would mean our isolation among allies and reduce the chances of any influence of Poland on the shape of post -war regulation on Ukraine.
PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński are well aware of all this. That's exactly why Law and Justice did nothing like that in power. In this case, therefore, it is only about the ruling coalition to vote against the resolution, after which PiS will accuse PO, left and PSL of favoring Russia.
The draft resolution is an example of the extreme, Polish foreign policy of cheap adventurous.
