Two Romanians from Italy are being investigated for attempted murder after having intentionally hit a man who had tried to stop a theft in a supermarket. The incident took place after one of the Romanians tried to deceive a cashier to get extra 40 euros, notes Digi24.

The man, using three 20 euros banknotes, asked for exchange in 50 and 10 euros, but tried to evade two of the banknotes. The cashier realized the scam, and the rear client, a 55-year-old Italian, intervened to stop him, according to the quoted source.
The Romanian fled to the parking lot, where a second man was waiting for him in a car. The two accelerated and hit the Italian by car, dragging him about 70 meters. The victim fell on the asphalt and suffered serious head injuries, being admitted to critical condition at the hospital.
The two Romanians were quickly identified, after one of them fell the driving license in the parking lot.
