Bayern's attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala has been on the 5-month recovery following a fractured fibula suffered at the Club World Cup in the USA.
The Bayern star is fighting hard, literally, to get back on the field. More recently, he trains with a supercar, which costs almost 18,000 euros. This is called “Sprint 2” and was delivered to the club by the company “1080”.

“Sprint 2” has a winch device and a cable that the player hangs from. He can sprint and run against the machine's precisely tuned, digitally controlled and directly analyzed resistance, with data monitoring on an iPad.
Musiala is 22 weeks removed from the fractured fibula with multiple ligament tears in his left ankle suffered in the last 16 of the Club World Cup (0-2 against PSG on July 5) and has recently stepped up his fitness program significantly.
Jamal Musiala will have to wait until early 2026 to return to the field
While Alphonso Davies, victim of a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee, is training with the team again and is close to returning, Jamal will have to wait until early next year.
Coach Vincent Kompany (39) is pleased with how the German international's recovery is going: “Everything is going well. If Jamal can train with us a few more times before Christmas, we will be very pleased. Then 2026 can be his year.”
Gianluigi Donnarumma fractured Jamal Musiala's fibula
At the Club World Cup, in the summer, Musiala had just returned after another injury. But in the match against PSG it happened again. The goalkeeper of the French, Gianluigi Donnarumma, dived on his leg, causing him to break his fibula.
The Bayern player later underwent surgery in Germany, but it was clear that the first part of the 2025-2026 season is over for him. His goals at the moment are to help Bayern in the second half of the season and to make Germany's squad for the 2026 World Cup.
