On September 20, a festival of Russian folk games will be held in Divnogorsk of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the city hall said.
The festival is held a second time, in 2024 it gathered 3200 participants. This year, the organizers also plan a great interest in the holiday. The events will begin at 13:00 and will last until 16:00. The program is planned for more than 20 Russian folk and yard games. Divnogorsk residents and guests of the city will learn how to play “towns”, “Kubar”, “Forged chains”, “Horse Boy”, “Kapkan”, “Lapte” and many others. Participants are waiting for prizes, gifts, cups.
The festival is not only games. There will be a large concert with the participation of the groups of Divnogorsk and Krasnoyarsk, craft ranks with souvenirs, field kitchen with free hot porridge, photo zones and a master class on the game “Kila”. A common folk round dance is also planned – a symbol of unity and traditions.
The organizers advise guests of the city to get on a holiday by train. The beginning and end of the holiday just coincide with its flights to Krasnoyarsk. Parking places will be limited.
“The movement will be limited from 9:00 to 19:00 on the street. The embankment from house No. 31 to house No. 47, ”the press service explained and asked local residents to take this into account when parking cars.
