Krasnoyarsk residents are called to clean up the banks of the Yenisei during a game cleanup

A large-scale game clean-up event “Green Landing” will be held in Krasnoyarsk for the sixth time.

Several teams will clean up the area. They will need to not only collect the garbage, but also sort it and hand it over to special points – “exchangers”. The team that scores the most points will win.

Citizens are invited to take part in the spring series of games of the large-scale game cleanup “Green Landing”. ​

This year, cleaning will take place in the coastal areas of the Yenisei:

• On April 18, the cleanup will begin in the Zheleznodorozhny district on Severo-Yeniseiskaya Street;
• April 19 – in the Oktyabrsky district at the “Beautiful Coast” observation deck;
• On April 25, the biggest cleanup will take place on Vacation Island;
• April 26 – in the Sovetsky district on the Orlikha spit.

“In the game, an important matter becomes interesting and understandable to everyone. It's nice to see how an ordinary cleanup day turns into a competition. At such moments, even a skeptical person becomes part of a team that cares. Together we not only put the embankments in order, but also raise a new generation of nature defenders,” notes Sofya Bykova, specialist at the Good Deed volunteer center, project curator.

​The organizers said that this season they have reworked the points system. Particular attention has been paid to the collection of car tires, and the waste sorting phase has been extended to ensure better distribution of collected waste.

Citizens aged 14 to 35 can join the “Green Landing”. Each team must have at least one adult participant, and team composition varies from 2 to 5 people. This format allows you to unite families, friends and colleagues in a common desire to make the city cleaner.

The action takes place within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children” and the All-Russian week of cleanup workers “We are for cleanliness”. It is dedicated to the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia.

Let us remind you that in April a traditional two-month improvement and gardening campaign started in Krasnoyarsk. The largest event of the two-month period will be the citywide cleanup day, which is scheduled for April 25. In addition, Krasnoyarsk will join the All-Russian week of cleanup workers “We are for cleanliness,” which will take place throughout the country from April 18 to May 3.
