Drone cooperation in defense. New contracts

-This is not a purchase agreement or acquisition of systems, but about acquiring skills, i.e. it is more between the armed forces of both country, or both country engineers and scientists from Poland and Ukraine-explained Kosiniak-Kamysz to Polish journalists at the Embassy of the Polish Republic of Poland in the capital of Ukraine.
The deputy prime minister, who came there with an unannounced visit, had previously talked on Thursday with the Ukrainian defense minister Denys Szmyhalem and secretary of the National Security Council and the defense of Ukraine Ruszeniem Rust.

There will be a ministry of defense, there will be drone troops, there will be a general staff. We will encourage all Polish companies that will want to come here to draw on these experiences (Ukrainian – PAP) – the minister emphasized.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense pointed out that the conversation with dying also concerned the role of the European Union in the protection of NATO's eastern flank. – We talked about what the EU could do as a whole. You can see that Europe has woke up and notices that the threat is no longer only inscribed in strategic documents, but it is real and very serious-said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
He reminded that the three contracts signed on Thursday include, among others Development of drone and anti -done skills. – Ukraine is today the most experienced country in the Western world in the production and use of drone systems. It is from her experience that we will be particularly derived, because the Ukrainian army also knows the abilities of the Russian Federation best – he emphasized.

He again encouraged alliance to participate in the Mission of the Analysis, Training and Education Center (Jatec) in Bydgoszcz, the only such NATO -Ukraine institution.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense also referred to joint exercises. – This is not just a drone training ground. In Nowa Dęba, Lipa, with the participation of Norway and other Baltic Sea countries, we modernize a new part of the training ground. I invited all ministers of defense of the region countries to its opening on October 1. This is a good place to train both Ukrainian and Polish soldiers – he said.
The minister emphasized that the talks also concerned Polish purchases of modern weapons for combating unmanned aerial vehicles. – I would like to buy as many anti -done systems as possible in Polish industry. This task was received by the Armaments Agency and the General Staff. Some sensors have already been acquired. Modernization of radars, the purchase of passive radars, development of radio -electronic fight. We are also waiting for Barbara Aerostats. These are the abilities that move light years forward – he assured.
He admitted that the Skyctrl system also requires modernization. – He is used, but he needs adaptation, because what was best in 2022 or 2023 today is outdated. In drones and anti -Antonations, innovations change from month to month – he said.
