The contractor stole almost 5 million rubles when the school is being repaired in the Motyginsky district

In the Motygin district, the director of the construction organization is suspected of fraud when concluding a state contract. This was reported in the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to the supervisory authority, in October 2023, the Mashukov secondary school entered into a repair contract for 44 million rubles from KDSK LLC. However, the contractor decided to save money. As a result, the facade was made of cheap materials, the building was poorly insulated, and the blind area was completely concreted with technology disturbances. The sidewalks also did not put the workers in order and did not engage in landscaping, although the funds were allocated for this.

The prosecutor’s office conducted an audit and attracted an expert who calculated the damage – the contractor has saved 4.9 million rubles of budget funds in personal interests.

“The main thing is the complete lack of reaction from the local authorities. The municipality calmly looked at the inaction of the contractor, did not try to force him to work. Instead, the parties quietly signed an additional agreement on the postponement of the deadlines, and then accepted the work “as is”-six months later and without comments, ”the press service of the supervisory department was indignant.

Specialists sent the materials of the audit to the investigating authority, as a result, a criminal case of fraud was opened against the director of KDSK LLC (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The role of the school principal is revealed in the course of a procedural audit – for abuse of authority (part 1 of article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The court forbade the suspect to communicate with the defendants in the case and leave the home at night, and also arrested his property and accounts for 5.9 million rubles as a guarantee of compensation for damage.

The arbitration court in the lawsuit of the prosecutor canceled the illegal additional utility and recovered from the contractor 500 thousand rubles percent for the use of other people's funds.
