Nearly a million zlotys for a family of 3. This is how Poles' creditworthiness increases

Analyst Bartosz Turek points out that there is also an increase in wages, which has made creditworthiness “from half a year from month to month consistently setting further historical records”.

“Almost PLN 930,000 – this is currently the average creditworthiness of a three -person family with an income at the level of two national average – results from the latest bank declarations. As he adds, “it's hard to believe that just over 3 years ago – During the holidays of 2022 – a family of three with income at the level of two national average had creditworthiness at an average level of lower than 400 thousand. zloty”.
As the expert explains, but then the salaries were more than 1/4 lower than today, the basic interest rate was 6.75 percent. And there was a risk that it would increase.

Now – as he indicates – the situation looks completely different. The average gross salary in the enterprise sector oscillates according to the recent CSO data around 9,000. PLN and has been growing faster for many months than the prices of consumer goods and services (inflation). In addition, the basic interest rate is at 4.75 percent. And forecasts provide for further cuttings.
