A massive air attack launched by the Russian forces on Tuesday, September 16, on the city of Zaporojia, made in Ukraine: two people lost their lives, about 20 were injured, and several fires extended to residential and industrial areas.
According to regional governor Ivan Fedorov, a 41 -year -old man died on the spot after bombing, and at least 18 people suffered injuries, including two children.
The attack triggered a strong fire, which included about 350 square meters, affecting three housing buildings and a fuel power station.
Preliminary reports indicate that 10 missiles from multiple launch systems have been launched, seriously damage 10 buildings and 12 individual dwellings.
According to Reuters, Zaporojie was not the only target of Russian blows, in the same NAPT and other regions of Ukraine, including the center, south and east of the country, being targeted by air attacks. In the Mîkolaiv region, another person was killed, and in Kharkov, two people were injured, according to local authorities.
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski said that, within a few hours, Russia has held over 100 drones and about 150 planning aerial bombs. According to a balance sheets, from the beginning of the month and so far, over 3,500 drones of different types, 190 rockets and 2,500 air bombs have been launched on Ukraine.
In the Kiev region, an important logistical center for retail was hit, triggering another major, visible fire from a long distance, with dense columns of black smoke rising above the capital.

Volodimir Zelenski reacted harshly to these actions, cataloging them as “air terror” and reiterated the call to the international community to provide Ukraine a common multi-layer air defense system.
“This is exactly the type of aerial terror against which Ukraine requires a common defense. The time has come to implement the common protection of our European sky with a multi -level air defense system,” the leader from Kyiv transmitted by a message posted on the X platform.
