President Nicușor Dan said that his visit to the United States, at Donald Trump's invitation, will “take place without discussion, most likely at the beginning of next year.” However, the head of the Romanian state says he wants to go to the US with several proposals for an “economic collaboration”.
Invited Monday night to Antena 3 CNN, Nicușor Dana was asked about the relations that Romania has with the United States.
“As you know, I had a telephone conversation with Mr. Trump as soon as I was invested in the position and in that conversation, he invited me to the United States, on an official visit. This visit will take place without discussion, most likely at the beginning of next year,” said President Nicușor Dan.
“More important than a visit is the content of this visit. Romania has at this moment two big goals that are important with the relationship with the US. One is the Security, the other economy. When this visit will take place, I want to be sure that Romania will go on the one hand with all the proposals that are in the security, but with the American military, This visit is to strengthen trade and support American companies in Romania and Romanian ones in the states, ”he said.
