Several influences on Tiktok who posted apolitical content became, at the end of 2024, creators of propaganda content for the Golden Party. They deny that they were paid and claim that they did all the clips in conviction, writes Pressone.

  • A video publisher who worked for the “Department of Propaganda” Gold has claimed, for Pressone, that the party coordinates influences recruited on Tiktok. Coordinators are Mugur Mihăescu and Robert-Mihail Uleia, a young man from Bucharest who is part of the party's youth organization. The two deny the existence of the department.

Pressone has identified several influences that have over 10,000 followers on Tiktok and who post almost non-stop Pro-Aure and Pro-Călin Georgescu.

Until President Nicușor Dan was elected, and Romania to have a new government, most of the videos were about the cancellation of the December 2024 elections. After the elections of May 2025, the content was focused almost exclusively on what Nicușor Dan, Ilie Bolojan and the ministers of the ruling coalition.

Many of the influences seem to have had the same evolution in terms of the content posted on Tiktok, notes Pressone. They became active long before last year's elections and gathered followers through clips that have nothing to do with politics: musical moments, dances, make-up tutorials, reactions to events in the music world, opinions about celebrities and other influences.

It is a phenomenon observed by the Expert Forum, in a report on the effect of “inauthentic networks” on Tiktok on the presidential elections of 2025.

“At the same time, we mention the existence of a practicing still undocumented, but recurrently observable, through which accounts initially developed for non-political purposes (eg beauty, memes, satire) are later converted to political pages. This type of audience is difficult to follow in the absence of a public historian of account activity,” the report shows.

From “pro-European” to “sovereignist”

The influencer “Antisystemqueen0” or “Mihaela.asg_” has over 108,000 followers on her main account and over 65,000 people per second. Behind the two accounts is Mihaela Dragomir, a masseuse that works for a spa/medical recovery center in Eforie Sud. It went viral on Tiktok with the cancellation of the presidential elections of 2024. Before the events of that time, the young woman was active on a third account, “illuminati.queen_”, where the post contained mainly humorous, unrelated to politics.

After the annulment of the presidential elections, Mihaela first appeared as a “pro-European” and supporter of Elena Lasconi. He participated in anti-Georgescu protests and laughed at the “Georgian bulls” in the comments.

In the last days of last year, Mihaela became one of Călin Georgescu's supporters. He joins the local organization of gold and posts clips in which he teaches people how to use the party's application to inform themselves correctly.

In her videos it alludes to a book that says so much “truth” that she risks being trivial from Tiktok if she mentions her name – Mein Kampf, the book written by Adolf Hitler – and posts clips in which the Jews are insulting and threatening.

“I also have a question. What would you expect to say a Jew who is not even Romanian. He is not a Christian-Orthodox, he has no Romanian name. Nicușor is the diminutive from Nicolae. Nicolae is Romanian name, Nicușor is not,” says the young woman in a moment on Tiktok, about Nicușor Dan.
