Kaczyński about the USA. “Difficult ally, but very powerful”

The United States is a difficult ally, but very powerful – emphasized on Monday in Kielce PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński. He pointed out that the US ally, who “expects different things from us, but also proposes a lot.”

Kaczyński during his speech expressed concerns about the future of Poland. He criticized the current government, which – in his opinion – implements the “German agenda”. In the opinion of the PiS president, he acts to the detriment of the country, suspending key investments, such as port development or the construction of the Central Communication Port.

The PiS president emphasized the importance of the alliance with the United States as – as he said – the only guarantor of Poland's military security. – Other alliances that will give us a lot, we are not able to include. Our European allies, although they can help and these days, this night from 9 to 10 (September, when Russian drones have repeatedly violated the Polish airspace – note PAP) showed it. But they are really very weak in a military sense, and America is very powerful in a military sense – emphasized Kaczyński.

In his opinion, Americans are not an “easy ally”. – This is a difficult ally, and often very difficult. You saw how the leaders of some countries were treated there. Fortunately, our president was not there – he said.

In his opinion, “this is an ally who expects different things from us, but also proposes a lot.” – First of all, he does not expect one from us to give us our state. And this is a fundamental matter. This is the most important thing. Poland, Poles must have their own state and not only because we once lost him and we still bear the consequences to this day-said the head of PiS.

Kaczyński also said that he rejected the concept of “European state” and “European democracy” as “nonsense” aimed at – as he said – the dominance of Germany. He also called for the mobilization of “Polish patriots”, arguing that only the Law and Justice party, based on “common sense” and proven programs, is able to fight for the sovereignty and future of the nation.

As part of the Central Communication Port program, among others, Central airport between Warsaw and Łódź and high speed rail system. The new airport is to be adapted initially to service 34 million passengers per year and designed in such a way that in the long term it can be flexibly expanded, in accordance with the needs and forecasts of market development. At the beginning of September, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Government Plenipotentiary for CPK Maciej Lasek announced that in September 2026 a company or consortium of companies would be elected to build the airport terminal.

In April this year. The CPK company selected a contractor in the tender, who will hollow the 4.6 km of Lodz tunnel for high speeds. The winner was the PORR consortium, and the contract value is PLN 2.17 billion gross. The investment should be completed by mid -2029. This is a key fragment of the railway line No. 85, i.e. the “Y” railway, which until 2032 will connect Warsaw and CPK airport with Łódź, and in 2035 it will allow the fastest connections of high speeds to Wrocław and Poznań.
