Problems with flooding not only by tourists from the Middle East
However, it is not that the problem only applies to Arab tourists. The owners of guesthouses indicate that the problem also applies to guests from other cultures and … intoxicated people. “It often happens that drunk guests fall asleep in a shower with a clogged outflow or in a bathtub in which water is still pouring. The result is serious flooding, covering rooms, and sometimes also the entire vertical of the building, “says an employee of one of the luxury objects in Zakopane.
Hoteliers emphasize that such incidents can generate costs calculated in tens of thousands of zlotys. To cover the losses, the owners are forced to claim compensation from guests.
