The president is accompanied during a visit, among others Presidential Minister Marcin Prokil and Deputy Ministry of Foreign Affairs Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski. Among the topics of conversations during both visits, as reported by the Security, matters related to the European Union, transatlantic relations and bilateral relations, as well as – in the case of Germany – issues regarding compensation for German crimes of World War II.

Karol Nawrocki in the German capital was welcomed by Poles. “Mr. President, a gift for Kasia,” said one of the men welcoming the president, handing him the Polish emblem. “Thank you very much,” Nawrocki replied.

Another men had “two matters” to Nawrocki. “Mr. President, don't let us down,” he said. “And the second thing – the history of Poland,” he added. “I won't let you down,” said Karol Nawrocki.

According to the schedule of the visit on Tuesday, President Nawrocki will be greeted in the morning by the President of Germany in the main courtyard of the Bellevue Palace. The Polish president will enter the commemorative book, after which he will go to the conversation with President Steinmeier. Then the plenary talks of the delegation chaired by both presidents were planned.

At the beginning of September, the spokesman of President Rafał Leśkiewicz said in the PAP studio that President Nawrocki at a meeting with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier would claim war reparations. He added that it was a refund of cultural goods and payment of compensation.

On Tuesday morning Nawrocki will go to the Chancellor's Office, where he will meet Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Also in this case, a meeting of both politicians was planned, followed by a plenary meeting under their lead.

After these meetings, President Nawrocki and a delegation will go to Paris, where before 16 will first be officially welcomed at the Elyseed Palace by President Macron, and then there will be a plenary meeting under the leadership of both leaders. Then there will be a face -to -face meeting of Macron and Nawrocki.

In the afternoon, around 17.30, the Polish president is to summarize both visits to a meeting with representatives of Polish media at the Polish Embassy in Paris.
