Protests in the capital of Nepal, Kathmand, began on September 8, and their cause was the decision of the government, which in the previous week blocked 26 social platforms and messengers, such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Reddit, accusing them of non -compliance with new regulations.

During the demonstration there were quickly bloody clashes, as well as acts of vandalism and arson. There were reports about the arson of the houses of politicians in Kathmandu, and local media reported that some ministers were evacuated from the city with military helicopters. (PAP)
