An ambulance carrying a patient was overturned on Sunday, at the Leo Square in the Capital, after being hit by a car driven by a driver. The assistant and the woman driving the other involved vehicle were injured to the hospital, the road brigade announces.
The accident took place around 11.00.
“From the first information, a vehicle driven by a woman collided with an ambulance from Sabif, transporting a patient. Following the road accident resulted in the injury of the medical assistant, but also of the driver from the other vehicle, who were transported to the hospital in order to grant additional medical care,” the Capital Brigade said.
Both drivers were tested with the ethyl tester, the results indicated being “zero”.
At this time, road traffic on the road is totally restricted. Cotroceni, from Leu Square to Splaiul Independence.
“Next, police officers from the Road Brigade carry out investigations in order to establish exactly the causes and circumstances in which the traffic accident has occurred,” says the Road Brigade.
