Wołodymyr Zelnski about Russian drones over Poland. “I think you have to answer”


“I do not think that NATO has failed. Everywhere where there is NATO, there is no war. We think it is a strong alliance,” wrote Zelanski in the Telegram messenger. In his opinion, there were no massive attacks on the territory of one of the NATO countries for a long time. “But they were already, (drones) came to Romania, Poland. I think you have to answer” – he added.

According to Zelanski, strong answers are needed, for example, providing Ukraine weapons, which is still not there. “Why? Because drones fly and Ukrainians cannot shoot them down. Some drones fly into the territory of NATO countries,” he explained.
The president estimated that opinions are unjustified that Russian troops are going west. “I have heard it from many people. The Russians are much better in disinformation than on the battlefield. There are more of them than Ukrainians. This is their advantage. The strongest group (Russian soldiers) is in the east, but the situation in which they are located is very difficult,” he noted.
The head of the Ukrainian state said that to stop 800 shahads you need 1600 interception rockets, which cost about 3,000. euro per item. In his opinion, one must answer and although “we have far -reaching (combat) abilities, there is a lack of money and urgent decisions.”
“We are ready for the proposal of President Trump”
In the opinion of Zelanski, the United States may lead Russia to dialogue. “It can be a meeting of leaders in any format. The most important – stop the murders. We are ready for the President's proposal (Donald) Trump: a three -sided and then two -sided format or vice versa. But they must be leaders, not technical teams” – he concluded.
On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, the operational command of the Armed Forces types reported that during the night attack of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, the Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by drones. As he emphasized, “this is an act of aggression that created a real threat to the safety of our citizens.”
Those drones that pose a direct threat were shot down by Polish and allied aviation.
