Muscovites continue to rush somewhere: the star (and not only) races took place in the capital. We tell how it was.
Sprint races of 60 meters and races with barriers were held on Nikolskaya. Among the participants: master of sports in figure skating, participant in the World and European Championship Emma Gadzhiev, professional hockey player Mikhail Sergachev and other (including foreign) athletes.
Evgenia Medvedev, Anna Shcherbakova, Alexei Yagudin and Dmitry Guberniev participated in traditional star starts, among others. All this is within the framework of the Athletics Week, which was organized by the Department of Sports of the city of Moscow together with the All -Russian Athletics Federation.
At each stage, the participants scored points for reaching the finals. The next stage was held in Luzhniki, where more than 200 athletes from 21 countries performed at the Tournament “Brothers of the Znamensky”. And all the competitions were held on June 6, 8 and 10.
