promoted to fixed two years after going through a drama » “I thank my wife, who supports me from above and watches over me” + She still wears the wedding ring!

FC Voluntari – Hermannstadt 3-0 (5-3 overall). Florin Pîrvu, the coach of Ilfoven, was extremely emotional at the end of the game.

FC Voluntari's players came to celebrate while their coach was at the flash-interview. After they allowed him, Pîrvu spoke.

At one point he made a statement that leaves room for interpretation in relation to the relationship he has with certain people in the club: “I have a few things to say, but I'd like to keep them to myself. It's a magical evening, I want to enjoy myself with whom I believe“.

Florin Pîrvu, after the promotion: “It's a victory for the players”

The technician congratulated his players for this accomplished goal. He also talked about the tragedy he went through two years ago, when his wife died.

“As I said, it is their victory, the players', they worked all season, it was a difficult season. Whoever thinks that it is easy in League 2 is wrong. We made a good play-off, but we did not manage to overcome Sepsi. This barrier came. I believe that, after this game, we fully deserve the presence in the first league.

I am happy with the reaction of the players, I am happy that we have formed a good group here, we interpret well what we do in training. They deserve the victory and to be in the first league. I don't think there's any point in discussing penalties anymore.

I want to thank the supporters. I would even make an invitation, I saw that the field was flooded, we need them for League 1 matches. I saw that there are many young people. We are preparing for League 1.

It means a lot to me and I would like to thank my little girl for all her support, my parents, my wife who is up and helped me, the people in Voluntari who helped me. It's a well-deserved promotion.

That's what I told the president, that my project is for Voluntari to return to the first league. It happened that they were relegated, I had a moral duty to this team, to promote it myself.

Yesterday marked two years since my wife is gone, but she was always by my side. I always hold in my hand something very sacred to me. I thank everyone for their support”, said Florin Pîrvu, at Prima Sport.

Invasion at the conference » The players entered with beers over Florin Pîrvu! The technician dedicated the promotion to his wife from heaven: “She watches over me from above”

FC Voluntari started a real festival of joy after the decisive victory against Hermannstadt.

Florin Pîrvu's initial speech at the press conference was suddenly interrupted by an “invasion” of players. The footballers from Ilfov stormed the conference hall, armed with beer bottles.

They started chanting: “Ola, ola, Voluntariul is in A!” and the famous song: “I share my life with the Volunteers!”

“It is an excellent evening. We have managed to return to the first stage of Romanian football. We have known since we started this project that we really want promotion this season. I congratulate the players.

We had a good regular season, but we couldn't overcome Sepsis. We tried until the end, but this tiebreaker, the only one that did not give us an advantage, was the one that was taken into account. We worked hard this year and showed everyone that Voluntari, from a sporting point of view, deserves to be in the first league.

I don't think there's anything more to say. With all due respect to Hermannstadt, they are a good team, but it was our group that made the difference. Victory and promotion are not in doubt.

I don't want to talk now about staying or not. I want to enjoy the next few days. I thank my little girl for all the support, my parents, my wife, who supports and watches over me from above, the people from Voluntari who support me, Mr. Pandele.

I don't want to brush anyone off now, but it was a moral duty to promote with this team.

I missed League 1. The volunteer, with everything he has done and the conditions that exist here, deserves to be in the first league. I saw many children, many people who invaded the field.

I would like these people to be our future supporters and to support us in the future in League 1. And happy birthday to everyone, considering that today is June 1!”, said Florin Pîrvu, at the press conference.
