“Myths”. The reaction of the ministry led by Lavrov after the incursion of Russian drones on the territory of Poland

Warsaw is trying to “escalate” the conflict in Ukraine by spreading “myths” about the intrusion into the Polish airspace of some drones whose Polish officials claim to have been sent by Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry accused.
In a separate statement, transmitted AFP, the Russian Embassy in Poland said that the Polish authorities did not provide him with “evidence” that the drones would be of Russian origin.
“The Polish part (…) has totally accused Russia of challenges,” commented the embassy, according to news.ro.
The Russian Ministry of Defense officially transmitted, earlier on Wednesday, that its drones made a major attack on the military facilities in western Ukraine, but said that there were no plans to hit targets in Poland, without denying or confirming the intrusion of these drones into the Polish airspace.

The ministry, however, expressed its willingness to carry consultations with the Polish side to address this problem.
Russia's Foreign Ministry, led by Sergei Lavrov, states, in turn, that he is prepared to participate in such discussions.
“Despite the obvious unfounded character of the insinuations from Warsaw, for the purpose of complete clarification of the incident for all the parties interested in preventing an additional aggravation of the situation, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is prepared to organize consultations on this topic with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Poland. Activity ”, said the diplomacy in Moscow, in a press release.
Poland convened on Wednesday on allies in the North Atlantic Alliance for urgent discussions, after several Russian drones entered its air space during a night attack on Ukraine.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk denounced the “large-scale challenge”, saying that Poland identified 19 violations of his air space and broke at least three drones.
Tusk has announced that it has invoked Article 4 of NATO, under which a member may request urgent discussions when he believes that “territorial integrity, political independence or security” is in danger – this being the eighth time when the measure was used.
