In Lesosibirsk, police caught a man with a large batch of methadone

In Lesosibirsk, police seized more than 40 grams of methadone from a local resident. This was told in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

Employees of the drug control department detained a 43-year-old man during operational-search measures. The attacker had a bundle with a forbidden substance with him. According to the conclusion of the examination, the seized turned out to be a methadone weighing more than 40 grams.

Police found that the Lesosybyr planned to pack a large batch of drugs on small bundles and sell through caches in the city.

“The retail price of the seized in the black market could amount to more than 400 thousand rubles,” the police said.

A criminal case was brought against a man under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Employment for illegal sale of drugs on a large scale.” Now the attacker is in custody, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
