Krasnoyarski took 114 more dogs from city shelters

This year, the inhabitants of Krasnoyarsk sheltered 114 dogs, which were previously caught on the streets of the city and, according to veterinarians, were not subject to release back. They were contained in organizations that under contracts engaged in catching, sterilization and veterinary maintenance of stray animals.

As explained in the city hall, in good hands all animals are transferred under special agreements. The new owners are responsible for them – they do not have the right to release self -walk or on the environment, they must provide care and food.

“The new owners were found thanks to volunteer work. Employees of shelters, city services and district administrations are constantly negotiating with the owners of construction sites, production bases, agricultural sections, warehouses, where fluffy guards can be useful. BOThe most of the animals are large and has a serious disposition. Smaller dogs or puppies are more often attached to the courtyards of the private sector and even in apartments, ”the city hall said.

Recall that the dogs, which were caught from the streets of Krasnoyarsk on the request of the townspeople, live in two shelters – IP Polyakova and LLC Berega. Now on life -lifelong maintenance at the expense of the city budget there are 1223 PSA, for each 157 rubles per day are allocated. “There are animals in the shelters, which are voluntarily contained on donations or money volunteers. By the fall, the number of dogs entering the shelters and overexposure points usually increases. This is due to the fact that the country season ends, the Krasnoyarsk residents leave the villages, but do not always take animals with them, which were brought or deduced in the summer, ”the city hall noted.
