The minister pointed out that the Act is a response to the veto of President Karol Nawrocki regarding temporary protection for Ukrainians in Poland.

Changes in the Act on help for Ukrainians. Here are the details
– In this act, we go out with two pillars: firstly, a comprehensive regulation of the issue of benefits for all foreigners legally staying in Poland, regardless of nationality – explained Kierwiński.
The benefits will depend on the beneficiary's professional activity in Poland. The exception applies to people raising children with disabilities, which, after presenting the appropriate certificate of Polish institutions, will also be able to use support. – The whole will be based on the data of ZUS systems, which will seal the payment mechanism – added the minister.
The project aims to organize the rules for granting benefits and ensure the consistency of the help system for foreigners in Poland, while connecting support with legal professional activity.
