A 10 -year -old child from Scoreiu, Sibiu County, was found by authorities tied with the foot of a table and locked in the house by his father. The police were alerted by the neighbors, who heard the child's cries, transmits the tower of the Council.

“On September 08, AC, around 2:30 pm, the Sibiu police were notified, by call 112, about the fact that in a building in Scoreiu a 10-year-old minor would have been found in the house. According to the local press, the boy's mother was present when the boy was tied to the table of the table and locked in the house, being hit by the man. The call to 112 was given by a neighbor who heard the child's cries.
The man motivated his gesture by saying he had to go shopping. He was detained for 24 hours.
“From the research conducted it turned out that the father of the minor, a 36-year-old man, would have linked the child and locked him in the house to go shopping. In this case, the police have drawn up a provisional protection order against the man, this being detained for 24 hours,” IPJ said.
Meanwhile, the 10-year-old child, his 8-year-old sister, as well as the mother were taken over by the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC) and placed in a center for the victims of domestic violence.
In this case, the police have prepared a criminal investigation file for bad treatments applied to the minor and deprivation of freedom illegally.
