Russian Railways organized the transportation of cast iron tubing intended for the construction of tunnels of the Krasnoyarsk metro: the cargo proceeded with a railway route of 4504 km from the Pukhovichi station (Republic of Belarus) to the Krasnoyarsk station.

The designs were delivered to the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the gondola car: these are fixing elements of tunneling, designed to protect underground structures from soil pressure and groundwater. Their total weight is 67 tons.

Unloading from the gondola car was carried out at the site of the terminal and logistics center of the Krasnoyarsk station using specialized equipment, then the tubing was delivered directly to the construction sites of the future metro.

“In this case, the Russian Railways units were provided with a full range of services for the delivery of goods important for Krasnoyarsk“ from door to door ”, including storage and transportation of tubing by our vehicles to the final point of the route, to the metro site. The coordinated work of the railway workers became part of the process of uninterrupted supply of construction projects of the Krasnoyarsk metro, ”said Andrei Tregub, deputy head of the Krasnoyarsk Directorate for Management of the Terminal and Square Complex.

Complete support of the transportation process at all its stages was ensured by specialists of the Krasnoyarsk Center for the sale of services of Russian Railways.

Note that this is one of the first batches of equipment for the Krasnoyarsk metro, delivered by rail. It will arrive in the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in steel highways until February 2026.
