The military gendarmerie revealed significant amounts of explosives in an apartment wounded in an explosion at a training ground in Rembertów. Therefore, a decision was made to evacuate the inhabitants of single -family houses at ul. Zawiszaków in Warsaw – spokesman of ŻW Lt. Col. Paweł Durka informed PAP on Sunday.

On Saturday at approx. 18.30 Two adults – contrary to the ban – entered the training ground at the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade in Rembertów. As a result of the explosion of the explosive, both were injured. The military gendarmerie in social media informed about the incident on Saturday evening.

Actions at the incident in the training ground in Rembertów – as earlier on Sunday, the spokesman of the Chief Commander of the ŻW donated PAP – the exact causes and course of the incident will be explained during the investigation under the supervision of the Military Department of the Warsaw -Ursynów District Prosecutor's Office.

In the next conversation with PAP before 19, the spokesman announced that in the apartment of the wounded military gendarmerie revealed significant amounts of explosives and residues after grenades and mortar shells. – in connection with the above, a decision was made to evacuate the surrounding buildings; This is in Warsaw at Zawiszaków Street. (…) Happiness in unhappiness that this is the area of ​​single -family houses, so a lot of people will not be evacuated, but a large area – said Lt. Col. Durka.

He also added that there are, among others Pyrotechnics from the Military Gendarmerie Special Department in Warsaw and Sapper Patrol from Wesoła.

Earlier, Lt. Col. Durka reported that during the incident at the training ground in Rembertów there was no army and there was no training. He also emphasized that the services intervened – medical, ŻW and sapper patrol. Both injured persons, after providing medical assistance, were hospitalized. – At the moment, the activities at the scene have been completed. It is not excluded that the expert during the expertise will want to appear there yet – he added.

– We collect evidence, there will be an expert expertise in this matter, the investigation continues. This is just the beginning of the case – he noted.

The spokesman appealed to strictly respect the bans of entering military areas. “Each entry to the training ground is associated with risk, even if in most cases it does not end tragically. For your own safety, follow the markings and prohibitions,” he emphasized. (PAP)
