ZUS informed about determining the amount of June pensions in April. Pursuant to the Act of August 5, 2025, these are benefits granted or converted in June in the years 2009-2019. “In total, ZUS calculated 219.5 thousand benefits out of 220.2 thousand planned cases. This means implementation at the level of 99.7 percent.” – ZUS reported then.
“In a small number of cases, the benefit recalculation proceedings remain suspended due to ongoing court or administrative proceedings,” added the April announcement.

Higher June pensions. This is the average raise
The calculations show that most benefits increased – 61%. seniors. In the case of the remaining 39 percent the amount of the benefit has not changed. The average increase was PLN 163.36.

As we read, benefits did not increase when the pension after conversion was still lower than the minimum or when limits on benefit payments were in force.
In total, thanks to the conversion, benefits increased by over PLN 21.7 million per month, and the increases were usually in the range of PLN 100 to 200.

The issue of June pensions concerns people who were granted these benefits by ZUS in the years 2009-2019 on the less favorable principles of contribution indexation used at that time. As a result, such seniors received lower amounts than in the case of people retiring in other months.
