A cryochamber, golf course and a joint bath. Here is a day in the life of the billionaire and husband Paris Hilton

Rheum talked to Business Insider, sitting on the couch in their 1400-meter “House of Dreams”, which contains the Wellness Center, a room for opening packages, several studies and photos of Hilton on almost every wall. Soon they will move to a neighboring house in Beverly Hills, which is twice as large. He previously belonged to the actor Marek Wahlberg and has a water slide and a 5-hole golf course on six across lands.
This is what Carter Rheum's Day looks like.

In the morning I start with Cold Brew and writing priorities for the day
I usually get up at 7:00 and reach for Cold Brew from my cumulus machine.
I always tell the founders of the startups that they should have a microscope in one eye and the telescope in the other. Meaning: Perform current tasks, but also see more. Therefore, the first thing I do over coffee is to save several tactical things to do and one or two major things that I have in mind. I try to do it before I look into the mailbox, because then I start to react to the needs of others.
The downside of the apartment on the west coast is that as soon as you wake up, people are waiting for you – you get a lot of text messages, on Whatsapp and Slack.
Someone once told me: “Don't let your receiving box be your list of tasks.” This means that others impose on what you have to devote time to. You should decide about it.
I use the Superhuman application and start with messages marked as important, because in the morning I can have several hundred emails.
During the day I usually have two talks on Zoomi with the founders of the companies to find out how they are going. I always want to hear about bad days more than good – because successes are easy to talk about, but If you create a culture in which people bring you problems and give you a chance to solve them, it leads to better results.
I enter the cryochamber twice a day and run a hyperbaric zoom Carter Rheum built a “wellness center and longevity” with his wife Paris Hilton in their home in Beverly Hills.

In our house in Beverly Hills from Paris we have created “Center for Longevity and Wellness”.
I think I was the first person who installed a commercial cryochamber at home. I use it twice a day – which gives about 700 sessions a year.
Three times a week I also enter the hyperbaric chamber and spend an hour there on zooms. I also try to use the bed for red light five times a week.
10 years ago, home cinema rooms were fashionable in Los Angeles. Now more and more people are investing in home wellness zones. The equipment can be expensive, but if you think what we spend money on – holidays or a bed for light therapy? Tesla or a cryocomist? – It starts to make sense.
I am a fan of intermittent post and cooking simple meals with my wife
I use intermittent post, so I don't eat until the afternoon. I usually order something healthy by postmates.
Paris makes a brilliant turkey sandwich – sometimes he prepares it for lunch and slides it under the monitor when I'm on the zoom. These are good days.
We love cooking together because it is the time we spend together. We make turkey tacos or grill chicken.
Each day I finish sleeping with children and swimming with my wife Paris Hilton and Carter Rheum at the Gala before the Grammy Gala at Beverly Hills, California, February 4, 2023.

Our children are two and a half and a half years. Before bedtime, in their sweet pajamas, they are calm and just want to hug and read books.
They fall asleep around 19:00 and I go back to work for a few hours. Paris also ends late. Then one of us sends a message: “Take a bath.” We have a large bathtub that fills 40 minutes, so you have to plan it.
We bathe together every day, because this is the only moment when we don't have devices with us. We are really present then. We talk about how the day has passed.
We also like to make common challenges-crunches, pumps, short workouts 8-12 minutes before bedtime.
I run the AI agent before bedtime
Already at the beginning of the development of AI, I understood that it must be part of the daily routine. That is why I created the M13 channel called “Ai Hacks” on Slack.
I try to set an example and build a culture of obsession with AI. I don't go to sleep until I start an AI agent. It can be something personal, e.g. “I'm thinking about going – find the 100 best hotels.”
At one conference I took photos of all participants from the screen and asked AI: “Create summaries of these people and mark with who to contact.”
A few months ago, the results were disappointing, but now that I wake up in the morning, someone has already done part of the work for me – and it's quite good.
In M13 we create summaries of all Slack channels and the entire portfolio. We have our own GPT models that generate reports about everything that is happening. I don't have to ask: “How is this company doing?” – And he'll inform me about it.
I believe that the best VC investors will be even better thanks to access to data and AI.
Next year when you look at this “Power Hours” series, the way I organize my day today may seem outdated. Because most of us try to determine what to focus on every day – and soon AI will do it for us.
