The leader Reform UK Nigel Farage has confirmed, in an interview with Skynews, that he wants to deport the demanding asylum back to Afghanistan, under the Taliban regime, if he will become prime minister. His position on this topic has not been clear so far: he previously said he would not send women back under the fundamentalist regime installed after the withdrawal of Western forces, but now states the opposite.

Asked if they would “hold” women and children and “send them back”, the clactton deputy replied: “Yes”.

When he was remembered that, in August, he had said he did not “talk” about women and children, Farage claimed that he was referring, in fact, to his desire to see the detained men immediately after arriving in the UK.

At that time, he said he was “very, very clear” about “deporting illegal immigrants”, adding: “We don't even talk about women and children at this stage – there are so many illegal men in the UK, and the press reports after my yesterday's conference were wrong.”

Today, Farage claimed that the UK has a “care responsibility” in the case of a child – for example, if a four -year -old arrives with a inflatable boat – but not for women or men.

“To be clear: those who cross the sleeve channel will be detained and deported, men and women,” he continued.

“We will have to think about children,” he said.
