A novelty is that soldiers will be able to retrofit as part of voluntary private purchases. – The green list is our idea for what already works in other armies of the world. Americans, for example, have a blue list. It is a list of equipment checked by the department and allowed for individual purchase for soldiers. Our idea is a bit of picking up world solutions – says Newseria agency Paweł Mateńczuk pseud. Naval, representative of the Minister of National Defense for Military Service conditions.

The green list is information for soldiers and commanders, in which the Ministry of National Defense indicates products that, after voluntary purchase, soldiers can use in service activities.

– This is something that I often find that a soldier has something of his own, but the commander can prohibit use, because it is not business. So if something is on a green list, it will be possible to use it officially – indicates Paweł Mateńczuk.

As the Ministry of National Defense emphasizes, soldiers will be able to buy things from this list of things, for example, for the so -called uniform, i.e. the financial equivalent paid every year for uniforms and other elements of the equipment. The idea of the new proposal is to maximally use the knowledge of soldiers, enthusiasts of service, which will help in choosing the right solutions. Soldiers are to be actively included in the equipment selection process.

– The Ministry of National Defense places the tested individual, widespread use and innovative solutions on the list. There are plenty of novelties at MSPO. Stretching the procedures we have is something that we start thinking about today, in 1.5-2 years he goes to soldiers, because these are procedures, cognitive tests, and purchase. And we know how quickly something changes, how the industry “slopes”. The quick process of introducing this on the green list will cause that it will be possible to buy and use it individually – emphasizes the representative of the Minister of National Defense for the conditions of military service.

Creating a green list will start with entrepreneurs of entrepreneurs interested in putting their products on it, on a special portal. A group of experts appointed at the Ministry of National Defense will direct selected products to tests to research centers, where they will then be authorized. If it is completed positively, the product will be entered on the list. Otherwise, feedback will go to the manufacturer, which requires improvement.

– Products that will be on the green list will be checked earlier according to the criteria indicated by the armed forces, so we are sure that they will be tested by expert groups in the ministry. So this is already a hint for soldiers and commanders, which can be purchased and is certainly checked – indicates Paweł Mateńczuk.

As he emphasizes, every manufacturer will be able to hit the list.

– Polish industry will be a priority, but we open the possibility for everyone. There are often large state -owned companies in our world, but there are also private, smaller companies that cannot break through, so a cell will be created, to which you will be able to turn impersonally, it will be possible to fill and send a simple protocol. Is 100 % The certainty that there will be a verse regarding this equipment. This equipment will be tested for the money of the one who wants to fall on this green list – emphasizes the representative of the Ministry of National Defense.

The green list may include, above all, the individual equipment of a soldier, tactical glasses, protectors, tactical footwear, tactical belts, gloves, but also rifle flasks and small drones. The initial list should be published at the beginning of 2026.

As part of the “Szpą” operation, as the Ministry of National Defense informed during MSPO in Kielce, over 200,000 were purchased. new Kevlar helmets, 100,000 bulletproof and tactical vests, over 50,000 pieces of optoelectronic equipment and over 1 million uniform items. Last year, PLN 3 million went to replacement, and in the next two years it will be over PLN 5 billion.
