What next with air shows? The minister answers

The minister was asked if after last week's disaster at the airport in Radom something would change regarding the participation of pilots in air shows, such as Airshow. Kosiniak-Kamysz reminded that currently all flights involving the F-16, except for operational activities, are suspended.
“After a full analysis and a report, which will be at the already military level – it is no longer explaining the matter, but drawing conclusions – a specific decision will be made, then we will communicate about it” -said Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense was also asked about media reports that on the day of the disaster the flight coordinator, who remained in contact with the pilot, did not know the right procedures. The deputy prime minister noted that the information about people who took part in the event is a question for the Commission for the Air Accident Aerial Accidents Commission and the prosecutor's office.
“All according to our recommendations must be met by specific standards and (such) people must have a specific certificate,” said Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz.
“We will make decisions regarding the participation of Polish Army pilots in aircraft shows, where the safety of the air forces, pilots 'safety and residents' safety will be in the first place,” the head of the Ministry of National Defense also declared.
Let's remind, after the disaster during the exercises before Airshow in Radom, in which the F-16 aircraft crashed, and the pilot Major Maciej “Slab” Cracovians lost his life, the General Command of the Armed Forces General of the Armed Forces announced the suspension of all F-16 flights except for operational activities.
