A 32 -year -old detainee from Ialomiţa County, located at the Giurgiu Penitentiary, is investigated for attempted murder after hitting another detainee, the Giurgiu County Police Inspectorate, quoted by Agerpres, said on Thursday.
The incident would have taken place in the second part of Wednesday, in the context of a conflict regarding the rules of coexistence, and the stabbed prisoner was transported to the hospital for medical care.
The Giurgiu Municipality Police was notified about the incident by call 112, by the representatives of the Giurgiu Penitentiary.
“From the first investigations carried out by the police, it turned out that, a 32 -year -old person, from Ialomiţa county, would have applied, against the background of a conflict regarding the coexistence norms, several blows with a stinging object made of handmade metal, to another person deprived of a man, of a 33 years, a 33 -year -old man, a 33 -year -old man, a 33 -year -old man, quoted.
The man suspected of the crime of attempted murder was presented to the court on Thursday, against him being ordered the preventive arrest for 30 days.
The investigations are coordinated by a prosecutor within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Giurgiu Court.
