Two citizens from Nepal and two in Romania were involved in the aggression that took place last week on a street in Cluj-Napoca, after which one of the two foreigners arrived at the hospital, in critical condition. The lawyer's lawyer arrested claims that he attacked Nepalese citizens after they harassed his sister and girlfriend on the street, writes News.ro.
The foreign worker who arrived in the hospital after being beaten on a street in Cluj-Napoca is from Nepal. He was accompanied by a work colleague, also Nepalese citizen.
“According to the first checks, on the night of August 26-27, the two men, 25 and 30, respectively, were on foot in the area, when they were approached by unknown persons. Against the background of a spontaneous conflict, they would have been attached, one of them would have been hit with the palm, and the other with a bluish object,”
The Cluj-Napoca Court Prosecutor's Office said that, at this moment, the victim is in a coma, without the certainty of its survival ”.
The suspects were identified on Saturday, August 30, being two 18 and 20 years old, from Cluj-Napoca and from Apahida commune. They were detained for 24 hours. Subsequently, the 18 -year -old was preventively arrested for 30 days, for strikes and other violence.

The young man arrested preventively after he put in the hospital the foreign citizen who came to work in Romania is called Samir Lakatoş and has no criminal record.
His lawyer, Isabela Maria Balogh, told News.ro that the young man recognizes that he was assaulted to the foreign citizen, explaining that the reason for the attack is related to the fact that he and his colleague, also Nepalese citizen, tried to “hang” his sister and his girlfriend.
According to Samir Lakatoş's account in front of the prosecutors, his 16 -year -old sister, and his girlfriend, who is 14, went shortly before midnight at a non -stop pharmacy. The young man claims that, on the way, the two met with two Asian citizens, who tried to talk to them “sexually”, and one of them “entered the personal space” of the 14-year-old teenager. At that moment, the aggressor's sister called her husband, who came with her brother.
Lakatoş and his brother -in -law came to the place indicated by the 16 -year -old, observing how Lakatoş's girlfriend was drawn by one of the foreigners, the lawyer said. According to Lakatoş in front of the investigators and his lawyer, his brother -in -law went to one of the two Nepalese citizens, he tried to talk to him, but the stranger hit his belly. Then Lakatos hit him in front, and the stranger fell, got up and left.
The second Nepalese citizen remained at the scene of the incident, being the one who was beaten. According to the lawyer, the aggressor used a thick stick, with a length of one meter, with which he hit his head, over his legs and back.
On the same day, in Bucharest, a citizen from Bangladesh who was delivering a bicycle was hit by a 20 -year -old, who asked him to return to his country, claiming to be an “invader” and filming the aggression.
The prosecutors said that the attack, which took place after the deputy gold Dan Tanasa published on his Facebook page a viral message in which he urges the Romanians to no longer take orders delivered by foreign couriers, spent “for racial and xenophobic reasons, in order to leave the country.”
