Since September 1, a new specially protected natural area has officially appeared in the Krasnoyarsk Territory – the microtentist of Sarkosoma with an area of 104 hectares in the Yermakovsky district.
According to the regional Ministry of Natural Resources, the main goal of creating protected areas is to preserve the rare mushroom of the spherical sarcosa, listed in the Red Books of Russia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
A unique mushroom, known as an indicator of old -growing forests, is found in the region only in single places – except for the Yermakovsky district, it was found near the village of Zharovsk, where the Zharovsky microzha is already operating. Outside of Russia, this species is at risk of disappearance.
The territory of the new reserve, removed from settlements, retained not only rare mushrooms, but also 17 species of rut -rolling plants, 8 of which are entered in the Federal Red Book. Among them are Venus shoes, Baikal armor and five endemic species, including the unique Milekhroa Sayanskaya.
The fauna of the microtentive is also diverse-12 species of red-hot animals are registered here, including black stork, a bracket and an eagle-white-headed manner, guarded at the federal level. The creation of protected areas will preserve the valuable ecosystems of the Western Sayan and continue to study rare species.
