Homage for George Enescu | truth.ro

Year after year-here were 26 editions! – The suite of the festival events of August pays homage to Sinaia the Enescian personality. And this, given the day of August 19, the birthday of the great artist.

The concept regarding the establishment of each annual series of events belongs to the master Marin Cazacu, the current director of the Bucharest Philharmonic. It follows with remarkable consistency, as it is natural, equally the artistic and educational aspect regarding the growth, the evolution of the young generations in the sense of the great Enescian ideals.
Completely emotional – as far as I am concerned – it was proved to be the recital of the youngest participants, those who also evolve within the Junior Orchestral Ensemble. The band is led by the young man, by the heart of the conductor Andrei Stănculescu, an artist whose artistic act finds an application so appropriate at the level of the young! The event took place in the casino room, under the inspired Eblam the charm of Peleș. Remarkable pages from the Romanian literature of the genre could be heard, works of wide circulation belonging to George Enescu himself, also to Ciprian Porumbescu or Iosif Ivanovici.
As we noted before, the recital of young instrumentalists proves to be a really visionary moment about the future of our musical life. Students of the high school and secondary classes could be heard belonging to the two Bucharest music high schools, the high schools in Iași, Cluj, from Timisoara, some of them being young from the Republic of Moldova.
They animated us authentic hopes; It is natural to mention the young violinists Valentin Rotar, Stefan Amarandei, Veronica Roșca, Arianna Luca, Felicia Mihai, Antoniu Cristea, the Violist Marius Antohi, the cellists Ruxandra Țoța, Tiago Suma and Tudor Ionescu, the smuggling Ana Țoța Clarinetist Eric Daniel Theodoru. They were accompanied by pianist Teodora Chircă.
The opening concert of the festival was held by the Romanian Youth Orchestra led by the Austrian conductor Katarina Wincor, an artist who has special experience in relation to the bands of young musicians.
Presented in the vision of the well -known violinist Ioana Cristina Goicea, the concert of Jan Sibelius enjoyed that romantic breath that belongs to the music of the famous Finnish composer. Romantic sensitivity of chosen orientation I could see even in the interpretation that Pianist Antonia Tudose gave to Frederic Chopin's ballads.
In a completely different thematic register, the recital supported by the pianist captivator Cătălin Răducanu, a recital dedicated to the piano, dedicated to the tammal, a tool, which is drawn on the basis of a special vocation. Improvisory evolutions in the area of jazz music, of the musician music, made the delights of an audience who knew how to appreciate the talent of the young student, the skills of the original performer.
A true One Man Show offered the well-known oboian Adrian Petrescu, a conquering personality both in the area of academic music-I followed dozens of seas in a row on the Athener's stage-as well as in its neighboring areas, in the wide address offered at the level of good taste, of a passion that literally reverses the stamps of the instruments, both of the instruments. Double, simple or traditional Romanian whistles. He had the ambition to have climbed the mountain to add to the ridges and those who followed him in this reckless, in this captivating trip.
The Arcadia string quartet, a formation from Cluj, a formation of extended circulation in the current perimeter of the musical life of our time, has expanded this time the stylistic area approaching an extended repertoire, from the musical baroque masters to the classical music, to the romantic one and from here … at moments from the repertoire of the famous band. It is a playful trip meant to arouse the curiosity of a wide public.
In the middle of August, under the wing of the Holy Sea, the Roman Catholic Church hosted this time the recital supported by the soprano Nomi Onucu, accompanied by pianist Daniel Dumitrașcu. The acoustic environment, the spiritual environment of the place of worship is proven to be as suitable as inspiring.
Lirism and virtuosity starting from Antonio Vivaldi's seasons, violinist Radu Dunca displayed in the company of pianist Alexandru Burca. And this in a captivating repertorial extension!
Significantly for the climate of the recent edition of the Sinaia Festival, a edition dedicated especially to the Enescian personality, the closing concert was supported by the eminent ensemble, by the Preludiu Chamber Choir – Voicu Enăchescu, an ensemble led by the same Andrei Stănculescu, an artist of versatile, of captivating orientation.
We enjoyed the recent edition thinking, as it is natural, at next year. For – here! – Young talents offer joys that can be really amazing!
