The Brazilian police were arrested on Fernando 1's first teammate in Formula 1, Tarso Marques. The Brazilian competed only one season in Formula 1, in 2001, when he and Alonso were colleagues in Minardi.

Marques was arrested for the “illegal possession of a luxury car.” According to The Washington Post, the former 49 -year -old pilot was detained at the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo in São Paulo, the car not having registration numbers.
