Tusk and the head of the European Commission visited the Border of Poland with Belarus, there appeared Belarusian military with weapons

“Poland is faced with hybrid attacks from a neighboring country. We are in solidarity with our member state. In the new EU budget, we proposed tripping funding for border management. We are all responsible for the external borders of Europe,” wrote von der Lyayen.

At a joint press conference with the head of the EC, Tusk admitted that when they were heading to the place of its holding, they received information and recommendation from the security service to refuse to communicate with the media or change the location, because “Belarusian soldiers with rifles appeared” (Polish Prime Minister’s video was published on his page in x).

“Therefore, I asked the president what she thinks about this. Whether she was ready to participate in this conference in this place. And I heard the words that I wanted to hear, and for us here in Poland they were obvious: no concessions, no one would intimidate us here and would not worry. We are also here to show this real European determination,” said Tusk.
