A sufficient amount of ammunition for Ukraine is a prerequisite for Russia to force Russia – the president of the Czech Republic

Pavel also confirmed Zelensky’s information on the possibility of transferring to Ukraine in 2025, 1.8 million shells within the Czech initiative.

“We are already discussing the supply of ammunition next year. We cannot proceed from the condition that we will already reach peace this year. And if so, it is better to supplement some reserves with these ammunition,” the Czech president said.

He expressed the belief that the artillery initiative of Prague and the opportunity to supply a sufficient amount of ammunition to Ukraine “is one of the prerequisites or conditions on how to force Russia to come to the opinion that it makes no sense to continue this war.”

“Russia had a great advantage on the battlefield. If this will remain so, there will be no reason to end the war for it. Russia spoke about this as one of the goals at the beginning of the war – that it wants to control the whole of Ukraine. And if we do not do this, the war will last for many more years,” Pavel said.

According to him, in the matter of the end of the war, “all cards so far have [нелегитимный] President [РФ Владимир] Putin “.

“It is enough for him to make a decision. But so far he has not shown such a desire,” the president of the Czech Republic emphasized.
