US President Donald Trump on Monday signed a number of executive ordinances, including imprisonment introducing a penalty for insulting the American flag. The president also eliminates “non -cash deposits” for arrested people.

– JIf you smoke the flag, you get a year in prison. It is not possible to get out in advance – said the president in the oval office. – People in this country do not want to see burning flags and flags that someone spits for – he added.

As Fox News pointed out, the cases of burning the American flag occurred during anti -izrael protests and demonstrations against the activities of migration services. The regulation signed on Monday is part of the initiatives taken by the corpse to promote patriotism. Also on Monday, Trump signed ordinances to eliminate the so -called Non -cash deposits for people arrested in Washington. According to him, crime developed with the introduction of this solution in the country. – First we will end it in the Colombia district, then in the rest of the country – he added.

Proponents of this measure emphasize that its elimination will hurt people with low income who have no money to pay a deposit for release from behind bars until the hearing.

Trump also said that he could – like Washington – send the National Guard to other American cities, but he would wait for him to be asked.
