PAOK FC announces the purchase of Alessandro Vogliacco from Genoa, in the form of a loan with a purchase option.
The central Italian defender will wear the number 4 shirt. Alessandro Vogliacco was born on September 14, 1998 in Acquaviva del Fonti, Italy.
He started his career at Bari's academies, before moving to Juventus, where he joined the junior groups of “Bianconers”. In January 2018, he was borrowed in Padova, a team he made his debut as a professional. It followed the transfer to Pordenone, where he played two complete seasons, recording 59 appearances and a goal in Serie B.
In August 2021, he was purchased by Genoa and loaned immediately to Benevento, for which he ticked 30 matches in Serie B in season 2021-22. After returning to Genoa, the central Italian defender played for two years in both Serie A and Serie B, accumulating a total of 64 appearances, two goals and two decisive passes, while in the second half of season 2024-25 he evolved in the form of a loan at Parma. At the level of national teams, Vogliacco represented Italy from U15 to U21, gathering a total of 29 selections.
