According to Podolyak, it is necessary to build further dialogue with the Russians on a strategy that involved a ceasefire before negotiations.
“It was necessary to adhere to this strategy that Ukraine proposed: the ceasefire, then the negotiation process – it can delay, I emphasize once again. Further – there will be a certain time of temporary truce, freezing along the front line, and so on. But there will already be an understanding that Russia really wants to leave the war. Today, obviously, they are not that they do not want to leave the war – they still have appropriate resources.
