Information about the shooting in Lviv was the first to be provided by Lviv councilor Igor Zinkiewicz on Facebook.
“There was a shootout on Włodzimierza Wielkiego Street. From the accounts of witnesses: two men ran after the third, when he pulled the gun and fired. Then he ran towards McDonald's and shot again. He was caught up and officers were called. On the spot there is a police patrol and many ambulances,” the councilor said. “As a result of the incident, no one suffered. The man who probably fired shots was detained,” he added.
The police confirm: the perpetrator detained
The shooting case is confirmed by the Lviv police.
“As a result of the incident, no one suffered. A man who probably fired shots was detained,” inform officers in a message published on Facebook. “The officers have determined that there was a conflict between the local and two other men, as a result of which he fired three shots from a pneumatic pistol.
The police inform that the issue of legal qualification of the event is underway.
