CSM Slatina defeated Rapid, score 26-25, in the first match of the “Florilor League” season, the first women's handball division of Romania.
Season 2025/2026 of the “Florilor League” is announced more intensely than ever. No less than 9 of the 12 participants exposed their claims to the European Cups. The debut brought them to face two of them.
Quickly, with a new coach on the bench, Laurent Bezeau, and many newly arrived handball players, received the visit of CSM Slatina, a team that invested massively in the summer.
Rapid – Slatina, enthusiastic debut in the female handball season

The final sequences were thrilling. With 7 seconds left, when the table looked 25-25, Hermina Olaru removed a throw from 7 meters. Polish Magda Nicoleta Balsam has transformed for a big victory.
