It is about the draft act on the heating voucher prepared by the Ministry of Energy and on the amendment of some other acts. In accordance with applicable regulations, the mechanism of freezing energy prices for households will be valid until September 30, 2025.
The justification indicated that the project introduces a number of changes to protect citizens from high costs of life, in particular in terms of heat and electrical energy. It is planned to leave the support mechanisms of universal range in favor of solutions focused on the most needy households.
The Ministry of Energy also proposed the introduction of a heating voucher. The authors of the project indicated that this is aimed at maintaining support for low -income households – by covering some of the receivables for heat to energy enterprises resulting from the increase in heating costs. According to the justification, this will counteract energy poverty among the most in need.
Promotional activities are proposed for the second half of 2025 and all over 2026.
Earlier, President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a law freezing the current prices, which this solution was attached at the stage of parliamentary work to the so -called windmill act.
