“Not only photos, but decisions”

Sikorski, answering questions during a press conference after a meeting of the cabinet council, noted that, according to the constitution, the president acts as the head of the state and the highest representative of Poland, which means representing foreign policy pursued by the government.
“In this spirit, the Council of Ministers adopted the position of the Council of Ministers for the upcoming visit of the President in the United States, which gives a clear interpretation: what to say, what not to say” – emphasized the minister. “I am at the President's disposal when it comes to my conversations with the American side, so that he has the latest information” He added.
Deputy Prime Minister expressed the hope that Nawrocki's meeting with US President Donald Trump would bring not only political but also practical for Poland. “Not only 'pics', but also decisions when it comes to decisions whether commercial towards Europe, whether possible peace conditions or economic relations and in the field of military with our most important ally,” said Sikorski.
The visit scheduled for September 3 will be the first foreign journey of President Nawrocki. As previously informed by the head of the Chancellery of President Zbigniew Bogucki, talks in the US are to mainly concern the military and energy security of Poland, and the president intends to emphasize that both Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin “must not be believed”.
