This is how Donald Tusk wants to play the president on Ukraine

According to “GW”, the prime minister's adviser is to be Robert Kupiecki, currently the deputy minister of foreign affairs supervising in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Security policy and transatlantic relations. “He is an experienced diplomat, in the years 2008-2012 he was an ambassador in the USA, and after returning to Poland he became deputy minister of national defense,” says the daily.

The newspaper writes that his task will be to directly inform the prime minister about the international situation and threats to the security of Poland and Europe. And above all, participation in meetings of the most important state officials dealing with security in NATO countries, which relate to the ending – or rather suspension – war in Ukraine – and forcing a Polish position on them.
