Orlen and Michał Sołowo came to an agreement. The first nuclear reactor will stand here

Already at the beginning of August we pointed out that the agreement between the Orlen controlled by the State Treasury and Michał Sołowów regarding the construction of small nuclear reactors (SMR) is close.
According to Business Insider Polska sources, negotiations have just been completedand the Supervisory Board of Orlen accepted the agreement between the Płock concern and the richest Pole.
– Orlen Synthos Green Energy, i.e. a special purpose vehicle for managing the SMR construction project, receives full access to GE Hitachi technology – says our source knowing the details of the case.
The concern controlled by the State Treasury also came to an agreement on the functioning of the company common with Sołowów, i.e. Osge.
– The partners' rights were equalized. The President and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of OSGE will be indicated alternately by Orlen and the Company Michał Sołowow. The change will take place every 3 years. If the president is the person indicated by Orlen, then the chairman of the supervisory board is the person indicated by Synthos Green Energy – emphasizes our informant.
A document was also signed, according to which the first SMR will be erected in Włocławek and will be built by a targeted company controlled by Orlen.
Long negotiations of Orlen and Sołowów
In the case for a year and a half, an impasse has been going on. ORLEN and Synthos Green Energy, controlled by Sołowów, during PiS rule began cooperation, which was to be the construction of a network of small nuclear reactors in Poland. For this purpose, Orlen Synthos Green Energy (Osge) was established. A billion has the exclusivity on SMR in GE Hitachi technology.
The current ruling coalition officially supported the project, but the last dozen or so months is an impasse in negotiations between Orlen and Michał Sołowowa. Both sides have long established new rules of the game within the Celebrity Caulted Company, but the biggest bone of disagreement was the question of where the rights to technology will be found.
Synthos Green Energy, i.e. Michał Sołowowa, has exclusive relief in several European countries, and Osge only has the right to use reactors in Poland.
“From a business point of view, it is key to maintaining technology rights in one entity. There are several possible scenarios, including bringing rights to OSGE, and this requires independent valuations” – informed at the beginning of August in response to Business Insider Polska Orlen questions.
It was at the beginning of this month that the rhetoric of the agreement between Orlen and Michał Sołowow was changed, and the Płock concern emphasized that the agreement between the two parties is close. Earlier, the company cut the topic and reported that the talks were ongoing.
The change of Orlen's position coincided with the announcement by the richest Pole that he intends to build SMRs in Slovakia and Hungary and signed preliminary agreements in this matter.
The impulse until the end of the negotiations between the Płock concern and the billionaire could also be a clear signal that came from the New Ministry of Energa, which was created after the July's July reconstruction. The ministry indicated that small nuclear reactors are on the list of his priorities. Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyk informed that By the end of summer, he will present a road map for the development of SMR in Poland. The Minister of Energy announced that small nuclear reactors will be included in the state's energy policy (PEP 2040).
